Tango Residential House

The Tango House was designed by architect Boštjan Debelak, who favours natural materials and organic, timeless forms. That’s why the facade of this distinctive single-family house is made of shaggy spruce planks, protected from deterioration by the Silvapro® thermal modification process. Although this method of protection does not use any chemicals, only heat, it can dramatically increase the resistance of native non-resistant wood species. Silvapro® thermally modified timber is therefore particularly suitable for the production of joinery, facade cladding, terrace decking, garden furniture, in short, wherever high waterproofing and stability of the timber is desired, as well as resistance to wood pests.
