Silvalazur strong is an environmentally friendly water-borne thin-film stain used for surface and decorative wood protection. The product is mainly intended for the protection of horizonal and walking surfaces and surfaces more exposed to weather conditions, as it provides good resistance to abrasion and reduces the sliding of wooden surfaces. Due to its good absorbency into wood and good vapor permeability, Silvalazur strong surface coating allows easy maintenance without prior removal of the previous layer. Since moisture does not stagnate behind the coating film, the Silvalazur strong surface coating keeps the wood dry and prevents the formation of favourable conditions for the growth and development of wood pests. Silvalazur strong is most commonly used for surface protection of wooden products and structures, such as wooden terraces, façade panelling, windows, doors, garden and balcony fences, pergolas, garden sets, beehives, children's playgrounds, etc.
Silvalazur strong coating is available in different colour shades. It paints wood in the desired shade and protects its surface from patination (graying), but does not cover the texture of wood, thereby keeping all its aesthetic value and warmth. Restoration of Silvalazur strong coating on wood that has previously been protected with this coating is very simple, as it does not require prior intensive sanding/removal of the old coating.
In the case of using Silvalazur strong coating on wood, which will be exposed to high air humidity or precipitation, we recommend pre-protecting the wood with a base protective agent (Silvanolin® or Silvanol) or the use of thermally modified Silvapro® wood.
